Above (right) is a photograph of the Spitfire and Hurricane aircrafts
designed by Mr R.J. Mitchell and Sir Sidney Camm respectively. Beneath
each aircraft is the signature of the designer.
On the left, the photograph shows the signature of Lord Dowding,
affectionately known as "The father of the Few", together with the
signatures of many well-known Battle of Britain Pilots and Aircrew.
